Chris Schroeder has been in the financial services business since 1983. She is currently Vice President, Wealth Management Financial Advisor at Smith Barney in Bend, Oregon. Chris moved to Central Oregon in 1979 and raised her two children as a single mom to Tim Schroeder and Sarah Hall.
Her previous career was in the music industry with management company Day 5 Productions/Dawnbreaker Music, who managed artists such as Seals and Crofts, Maureen McGovern and many others. She also got the opportunity to plan celebrity Golf Tournaments and TV specials.
Chris was one of ten women who had the vision to get the Network of Entrepreneurial Women up and going in 1986. She has served as program director and president of the club.
Chris was also one of the founding facilitators and a board member of Opportunity Knocks for many years.
She
gives many seminars in the community to help educate women about
financial planning and organizing your life to have more energy to do
the things you are passionate about.
Chris is currently working on a fiction novel and a finance book. When she's not writing children's stories or for The Bulletin on financial matters, Chris spends her time with family.
